Shadowgrounds co-op with 360 controllers... issues!
For some reason all profiles' axis-rx and axis-ry are bound to the first controller. All other buttons work normally, but controller 1 controls where every character looks/aims. Anyone know how to separate these?
Re: Shadowgrounds co-op with 360 controllers... issues!
Had to verify this just now, and indeed you're right - by default the first player controls both cursors (of course not intentional). I tried messing with the settings and couldn't really do it from the game menus - I think in theory the Axes are set by the gamepad's number, i.e. if Attack is joy2-but-1 then it should use joy2 for the Axes... but this didn't seem to work at first, so I had to a bit more tinkering.
So you'll need to edit the files manually - go to the game's folder, and then to Profiles/profilename/Config/ and check the keybinds.txt file for both profiles. I ran a replace all command where I replaced "joy-" with "joy2-" for the second profile, and then launched the game, and went to Options, and selected the second profile, and for some reason now it allowed me to set the Axes with the second gamepad (whereas previously it would just stay empty). Then everything worked.
Here are my #1 and #2 player configs too:
And player 2:
I hope this helps!
