Postby Farang » Fri Nov 11, 2005 10:39 pm

I have a litte Problem, iam using Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS and The teufel Cem box sets, i have the newest Audigy driver installed.
In options i used Multi (5.1) and i triet the option sourround but i just get sound out of the right center and left box, the rear boxes are sliences.
Have an idea how to get full sourround?

Heh, I've noticed just the same with Shadowgrounds :P I have a motherboard with integrated soundcard. It is a nForce2 one, so it is capable of handling 5.1 sound. Anyway, it is pure stereo sound I hear in Shadowgrounds despite of choosing the multi-channel (5.1+) option.

I've had this problem with other games too, for example FlatOut.

Doesn't Multichannel (5.1+) mean over 5.1? At least I think so due to the plus there. There is an option called "Sorround Speakers" have you tried that?

I'll make coders to check out this issue. We like to hear the sounds as intended, won't we. :)

I was just dreaming about surround sounds in the Ganymedean storm. That, guys, would be something really thrilling.

Anything new on this? No matter what I try to do, rears are totally silent. Same with my old Audigy 2ZS and with new X-Fi FPS...
